How Sessions Work
I offer online tutoring sessions in a calm and supportive environment, with the flexibility to tailor each session to the student.
Where appropriate, I can also offer face-to-face support through home visits.
Every student is different, so sessions are planned around their individual needs, strengths and goals. Depending on what they need, sessions might include:
- Clear, focused teaching
- Working through tasks together, with support when needed
- Revisiting key skills and building on previous learning
- Support with writing and expressing ideas clearly
- Practising exam-style questions and techniques
- Building confidence and helping students recognise what they can do
Primary Support
I also support Year 5 and Year 6 students with their English, particularly those who need a little extra help with reading, writing, confidence or preparing for their SATs.
Sessions are tailored to the individual student, helping them strengthen their skills while feeling more confident in their learning.
